Junior Videographer
(Part-Time, Atlanta-Based)

G-Lab Group is a mission-driven, data-driven storytelling agency serving nonprofit organizations across the United States. We help organizations like The Salvation Army tell powerful, real-life stories that inspire action and drive impact.

As our work continues to grow, we are looking for a Junior Videographer based in Atlanta, Georgia to join our storytelling team.

This is an entry-level, part-time role (20–25 hours per week) with strong potential to grow into a full-time position as G-Lab continues to expand.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about storytelling through video and wants real-world experience across filming, editing, and production.

You will be part of a traveling production team capturing stories on location, while also contributing to editing and pre-production planning. This is a hands-on role where you will both execute and grow creatively.

Travel is a core part of this position, so this role is best suited for someone who enjoys being on the road and working in different environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-location video production, including camera operation, lighting setup, and audio capture

  • Travel with the G-Lab team for shoots across the United States (typically 1–2 trips per month, 2–3 days each)

  • Edit video content using Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, and CapCut

  • Support pre-production planning, including shot lists and coordination with the team

  • Communicate with clients as part of the pre-production process

  • Collaborate closely with the Storytelling Department, Project Managers, and Social Media Team

  • Contribute ideas to enhance storytelling, visual quality, and overall production value

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic to intermediate experience in videography, lighting, and audio capture

  • Proficiency in:

    • Adobe Premiere

    • Adobe Audition

    • CapCut

  • Strong understanding of camera operation and composition

  • Drone operation experience (or willingness to obtain FAA Part 107 certification, sponsored by G-Lab)

  • Photography skills

  • Ability to travel regularly as part of the role

  • Portfolio or demo reel required

Nice to Have

  • Color grading experience

  • Motion graphics experience

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate, based on experience

  • 20–25 hours per week (part-time, fixed schedule)
